FROM THE NORTH

Follow the A12 Genoa-Livorno motorway: exit at the Rosignano toll gate. Continue along the S.S. Aurelia to Venturina-Isola d' Elba and then for Piombino Marittima, following the signs for Elba and the ferry terminal.

FROM THE NORTH-EAST

Follow the A1 Bologna-Firenze-Pisa-Livorno motorway: exit at the Rosignano toll gate. Continue along the S.S. Aurelia to Venturina-Isola d' Elba and then for Piombino Marittima, following the signs for Elba and the ferry terminal.
Alternatively: follow the "S.G.C. Firenze-Pisa-Livorno" toll-free highway (known locally as the Fi-Pi-Li), exit at Firenze Scandicci and continue along the S.S. as far as Collesalvetti; return to the A12 motorway as far as Rosignano Marittimo, then the "Superstrada" to Venturina and then for Piombino Marittima.

FROM THE SOUTH

Follow the A12 Roma-Grosseto motorway: Continue along the S.S. Aurelia to Venturina-Isola d'Elba and then for Piombino Marittima, following the signs for Elba and the ferry terminal.
